National Public Radio, Here & Now w/ Robin Young

It was an incredible honor to be invited to share my story on NPR. I’ve been listening to Robin Young for years, so I was a little star struck. I was in Houston speaking at a conference, so I did the interview from a Hilton hotel room – with a landline in one ear and iPhone in the other. I was so nervous beforehand that I actually took a nap and woke up about 15 minutes before the interview so I’d be too tired to talk fast (one of my challenges!). Robin really challenged me in this interview and called me out for spending so much time in my 20’s focused on making money instead of living carefree. This was the first time in an interview that I acknowledged how tough reaching financial independence in five years actually was. I really enjoyed the conversation and hope to have the opportunity to chat with Robin again when my book comes out.

So Money w/ Farnoosh Torabi

Farnoosh Torabi is the host of CNBC’s Follow The Leader, the #1 Female Podcast according to Entrepreneur Magazine, and one of the top personal finance experts in the world. Her So Money podcast is easily one of the longest running and most popular money podcasts in the game, so I was stoked to sit down and chat with Farnoosh. We cover a ton of ground in this episode, where I share many of the challenges I faced on my path to reach financial independence in 5 years. She asked me one of the best questions I’ve ever received – “What’s one counterintuitive piece of advice you’d give to Millennials about money that they don’t know?” Check out the episode to hear what I said.

Entrepreneur On Fire w/ John Lee Dumas

EOFire is one of the most popular entrepreneurship podcasts in the world and previous guests include Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, and Gary Vaynerchuk. John is hilarious and it was a ton of fun chatting with him about my successes and failures as an entrepreneur. I talk about some of my own failed business ideas that I’ve never shared before, as share why it’s important to analyze market demand before launching a new product, and how to do it using Google Search data.

Radio New Zealand w/ Jesse Mulligan

I’m always so stoked to hear from readers in New Zealand and I actually get a fair amount of traffic from the country. I had the opportunity to be on Radio New Zealand, the national radio station and share my story. I really enjoyed the chat. Check it out.

Canada Global News, Talk Radio AM 640 w/ Tasha Kheiriddin

One day in March 2017 my story exploded all over Canada and I did 4 radio interviews in one day and made the printed cover of the business section of The Toronto Star. Since that day I continue to get a ton of readers from Canada. Of all the interviews I did that day across Canada, this one is my favorite.

Fight The Cube Podcast – Episode 1: How To Grow Your Net Worth To $1,000,000

I was honored to be invited to be the first guest on the Fight The Cube podcast, hosted by two brothers in Austin Texas. I had an insanely busy morning before this interview and instead of opting for more coffee, I grabbed a green smoothie. I got pretty hyped up and reveal a ton about my life, making money, and investing. I think this is also the longest podcast interview of me, so we cover a ton of ground. Definitely worth checking out if you want to go deep into my strategies.

Couple Money Podcast w/ Elle Martinez

This episode is special to me because it was the first podcast I was ever invited on. I’ve since had Elle on my own podcast and we’ve become friends. We chat about a lot in this episode. At the time I was only getting about 50 visitors a day to Millennial Money and I was just getting used to sharing my story with others. It’s crazy to think how much has changed since I recorded this episode.

Marriage, Kids, & Money w/ Andy Hill

Andy is awesome and is one of the nicest guys ever. I enjoyed sharing my stories on his podcast and make a few reveals I’ve never shared before about my investing strategy. While I don’t yet have any kids, I did recently get married, so I share a little about how we manage money in our marriage.

Make Money Your Honey w/ Amanda Abella

Amanda has been writing about personal finance since 2010 and has a popular money podcast. I was honored to be her guest and be featured in an Inc Magazine article that she wrote about my story. We had a ton of fun in this episode – just such good vibes, that I had to include it in my top interviews. Enjoy.
