I recently launched the Millennial Money Minutes podcast with Matt from Distilled Dollar. On the podcast we distill tough personal finance topics in 5 minutes or less.
Matt and I are both Millennials and share the same mission of spreading personal finance strategies, but we are also in different stages of our own financial independence journeys. Matt is a 27-year-old CPA who just achieved a zero net worth and is continuing to work hard to pay back his student loans. I am a 31-year-old millennial millionaire and entrepreneur, focused on diversifying my income streams and investments to minimize tax exposure and support wealth building.
There are some topics we agree on and others that we don’t but we hope our experience and perspectives will help you make smarter decisions in your own financial life.
Our first episodes are focused on personal finance fundamentals like Saving vs. Spending, Roth vs. Traditional IRA, Budgeting, and Index funds. Over time we will continue to add in more advanced and technical concepts for those who are interested in exploring other areas of personal finance.
As the podcast evolves I will try to post my personal favorite episodes on this page, but all episodes can be found at Millennial Money Minutes or on iTunes. If you like what you hear please subscribe. If you have any specific topics you want us to cover please comment below, email us, or use the hashtag #millennialmoney on Twitter.
Thank you for all of your support, taking the time to listen, and sharing Millennial Money Minutes with your friends. We have been blown away by the early response to the podcast (with over 3,000 downloads in the first three weeks) and are stoked to share more episodes with you as quickly as we can.
