Play Warm-Up Games

While you and the competing player are both up against the computer, it’s the other player you are trying to defeat. You are both given the same tiles (as is the computer) and are duking it out for the highest score.
After the warm-up, you can play for real money and enter cash tournaments. But it’s probably best to stick with the free Skillz games for a little while.
To play the free matches, you will need to wager three Z tokens.
Z tokens are a form of virtual currency used in the app to play free or non-cash games. Z tokens have no cash value. You win Z tokens by winning free matches. Or you can get Z tokens for logging into the app and claiming your free daily gifts.
I placed 1st in the first practice game I played on Dominoes Gold. I won 3 Z coins and ticketz. Losing players also win ticketz, too.

How to Cash Out
Dominoes is run on the Skillz platform for payments, rewards, and withdrawals. With Skillz, there is technically no minimum threshold to cash out, but there is a $1.50 processing fee for balances under $10.
